  • Writing and Reading Storage Center Perfect for Kindergarten

    Funded Dec 12, 2007

I would like to express to you my profound gratitude for your generous gift. The Reading and Writing Storage Center will be a wonderful and extremely necessary tool in my classroom. My students, who are steadily becoming independent learners, will also become efficient and better organized.

My students will gather around the Reading and Writing Storage center as they put away their work in their cubbies and retrieve their favorite books from their boxes. Once again, thank you very much from your wonderful and generous heart.

    Sincerely,

    Maria R

  • Inspiration from Dr. Seuss

    Funded Nov 20, 2007

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Thank you For your generous contribution to my classroom. I am thrilled that my request was filled. I can't wait for my kids to start reading these Dr. Seuss books. I only have two Dr. Seuss books currently in my classroom and they are constantly checked out. My kids are going to be so excited. We are going to use the books as a reading tool, but also as a springboard to study character education. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!!”

  • Writing is Fun

    Funded Nov 12, 2007

Thank you very much for funding my proposal. Your generosity will really help my students. They are now excited about writing, but with the additional materials, they will be more enthusiastic about writing. They will be able to take home books that they made in school that are sturdy and which they will be able to read over and over again. I can't wait to see their faces the day that they read the books they made and bring them home to share with their family. This would not be possible without your help. Again, my students and I would like to thank you for your kindness and generosity”

  • Computer Projector for Humanities Class

    Funded Oct 23, 2007

I cannot describe the wonderful feeling I had this morning when I checked my email and learned that you donated a projector. My students will also be so surprised and extremely grateful. At Vanguard High School we work very hard to provide our students with a progressive, interesting and relevant curriculum. This projector will allow me to share current events from the Internet, movie clips, art, and it will also allow me to demonstrate to students how to use technology. I can't tell you how useful this resource will be.

    Gratefully,

    Maggi”
