Kids learn more about science when they get to apply it in the world around them. These projects all help get inner city kids in contact with the natural world, either by bringing insects into the classroom, or getting kids out into the wild.
Thank you so much for this generous contribution to our classes. The indoor/outdoor pond will be an exciting addition to our elementary science lab. I am certain that the 4th and 5th grade students will especially enjoy the opportunity to create, maintain, and study this habitat. Younger students will also have the opportunity to study the habitat this will create. The indoor/outdoor pond will indeed create opportunities for purposeful outdoor nature discovery that is otherwise impossible for my students to experience firsthand. Thank you again for making this possible. I look forward to sharing some of our experiences with you in the coming months”
Thank you for funding our project, "It's a Small World After All." This a genuine opportunity for my students to become first-hand investigators of their own world. It is a chance to integrate science, math, and literacy in a meaningful way. I am sure that after our project, the children will see their small world in a much bigger way!
Thank you so much for funding our classroom with Insects and Plants Rule! Great timing! We just talked about insects this week in our classroom. My students will be so excited to complete some fun hands-on learning activities about insects and plants. Thank you for your support!
