My students and I are so pleased to learn that our project "Bulldogs Ask: Who Let the Science Out?" has been funded thanks to your generous donation! We are so excited about the prospect of studying live animals in our classroom! Students learn by doing. Our new aquarium, animal habitat and worm farm will go a long way in helping these deserving students get some hands-on experiences. What a wonderful Thanksgiving this is for my class! We are truly thankful for your donation and we will use these materials to become thoughtful young scientists!
Sincerely,
Ms. G and the Kindergarten Students at Harris Elementar”
I cannot express how thrilled I am to see that these items have been funded. Our resources for this AP class are limited, making it difficult to create high-level activities that peak student interest. With your generous donation, my students will see how the mathematics they have learned about in class relate to the world around them. I look forward to using this technology, not only for this school year, but for years to come”
I am grateful for the supplies. These boards will enable the students to fully engage in the classroom. The students love having their own materials and get excited about learning. These boards will help students who may have not made it if we weren't able to pull them into the educational process.
I can't believe it! You are so awesome and when the kids see it and use it, they'll be amazed. The microscope will help us engage and interest our special education students, but the best part is teaching them that there are people out there that care about helping them.
The first group to use it will be my 7th graders, who are working on cell structure in animals and plants. Later on they'll be working on genetics, so they'll be examining hair and fingerprint samples as well as extracting DNA from strawberries. Also up and coming is work on crystal structure, soil composition, water quality, rock samples and many other whole-class activities that will be enhanced by the use of this microscope.
This is my first time using Donors Choose, and when I saw the email that we'd been funded, I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! You have really made my day.
Thank you so much for funding our proposal. I look forward to sending you pictures of the students using the math games and resources. Thank you for your generosity and helping my students receive a well rounded education. Due to the demographics of the area our school is in, my students have limited exposure to unique and valuable experiences and materials which will broaden their horizons. You have truly made a difference in the lives of my 5th grade classroom. We appreciate you for all that you have done”
Thank you so much for funding this proposal! My students don't believe that you can build a paper roller coaster strong enough to carry a marble. I can't wait for them to learn how! I really appreciate your generosity and thank you so much for supporting what I do with these kids.
Thank you so much for the funding of our "Write Science" proposal! The science notebooks, dictionaries, and binders will assist our fifth grade students in effectively organizing and understanding science content and curriculum. We appreciate your generosity greatly and are so thrilled that you have chosen our proposal to graciously fund. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”
The students of the gifted program at ICS send thanks to our kind donors! My students are buzzing with the news that they be receiving materials for the quilt project. They can't wait to get started on the project. Thanks to all who donated to purchase these materials”
When I received the email that this proposal had been funded I was completely in shock. Having this projector will completely change the way my classroom runs. Thank you so, so much for you unbelievable generosity. I absolutely cannot wait to use this with my students”
I would like to thank you for funding my request for a digital camera for my classroom. Taking pictures of the students while they are creating projects and doing lab activities really makes their day. When the pictures are posted, they get to relive and review what they were doing when the picture was taken. Thank you again for helping us to be able to Picture the Wonders of Science!
