Thank you, thank you, thank you, so, so much for the DVD video camcorder, tripod and other equipment for the, "Sixth Graders Want to Learn How to Make Digital Movies project. The school I work in does not have any type of video or still camera equipment. The students will be excited to hear that they will be learning and using video equipment to create movies, podcast and still pictures of school events. A Special Thank you to the, "Fred Wilson's Challenge," to promoting, “Technology in the Schools,” and getting people to donating funds to this proposal.

Thanks to your support we did it! It has been a year-long haul of concerts, fund raisers, emails, bake sales, and donations, but in the end the Bronx High School for the Visual Arts will be the proud recipient of a professional DJ and PA system.

I hope you realize just how vital your support will be in the education and quality-of-life for my students. The prospects of performing their original music in my music classes and at public dances and gatherings has already resulted in better participation and enthusiasm in my classes. Students have already started asking questions about when they can start learning how to use the turntables, microphones, mixer, lights, and speakers.
