  • Bringing Literacy Into The Math Classroom

    Funded Mar 12, 2008

I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you so much for funding my proposal. I am certain that this document camera is going to be a great tool for teaching my students mathematics. This technology will help our class work on answering open-ended and more challenging math questions. It is these skills that our students need the most work on. Thanks again”

  • A Dusty Problem With a Cheap Solution!

    Funded Nov 10, 2007

Thank you so much for funding my proposal for a white board for my classroom. To be honest, I never expected to receive full funding, and was planning to buy more chalk for our current monstrosity. Now, thanks to you, we won't have to deal with that anymore! I know my students will now be able to read and copy down information from across the room, and my students with sensitive noses will no longer have to deal with chalk dust! Again, thank you so much, and I look forward to installing and using our new equipment”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Karlin

  • The World Around You

    Funded Nov 10, 2007

Thank you for funding The World Around You project. This will allow students the opportunity to learn about subjects that they would not have come in contact with, such as geography, American symbols, and current events. As well, students will be able to take these materials home and share their learning with their families. This is an important part of the learning process as they will be able to reinforce their knowledge. These mini magazines are fun and informative. Students love them. Again, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Kullas
