Thanks to your support my students have a wonderful sandbox, where they build mountains, volcanoes, roads for their trucks , mud pies, just to mention a few fun activities . We were also granted with water table toys. There is so much learning going on through sensory activities, the children are able to solve problems ,share, measure volume, capacity, weight, compare, make predictions fell different kinds of textures, describe what they see, how it feels. Is people like you that make the difference in children's education. Please continue supporting our schools. ”

I want to thank you for making our field trip a reality. Your donation will help our second grade students understand science and the world around them. It will also help me show them how science is everywhere around them and how can make a scientific impact in their world.
I deeply appreciate your kind support. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to visit the Children's Science Museum and the kids wouldn't have benefited from a direct experience with genuine artifacts. Thank you for making a difference in the classroom! Thank you for being Agents of Change!”

We read this book thoroughly, breaking down each section. Altogether students learned nine stages of the evolution of our species. Students learned how single cell organisms could have bunched together to form multi-celled creatures. Likewise they were able to grasp, through the colorful illustrations and delightful rhymes, how something as seemingly improbable as a single cell could, through small changes, eventually become us. As part of an extension to the book we looked at how closely related all humans are, how relatively recently our species evolved. To many students it was a shock because they were use to looking at the differences between nationalities and ethnicity rather than the stark similarity between all humans.
Your gift was also an amazing resource in another subject besides science. As English language learners, my students gained valuable vocabulary and grammar from the book. The structure of the book allowed them to easily access and recall new words.
I look forward to rereading this book with students next year. These books are a treasure and I plan to take care of them so that they'll be used for many years. Thank you for your gift.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Vizthum
