This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so excited to learn but we’re short on materials, so my project helps them with tools for reading whether it’s guided reading books, tools for reading centers including clipboards and headphones for computer literacy centers. All of these tools help my students discover the joy and satisfaction of reading. Non fiction as well as fiction titles really empower my kindergarten students to discover the power of being able to start their reading journey. This is such a foundational skill and a basic necessity for student success. Thank you for your support.
