This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

What I love about my students is the fact that they have a spirit of gratitude and appreciation for the simple things in life. They appreciate the little/small things given unto them and expect so little which in turn makes me want to give the so much.

These materials will enable the students to create 3-D projects, from using trash and junk from junk drawers, called Trash Art.

These art projects will be used also to compete against other schools in various Art Contests such as Jacksonville Agricultural Fair, Scholastics and High School Art Show. It will also give us the resources to help us build a strong 3-D Art Program at our school.

The student will learn that you can take nothing and make something from it. It don't take a lot, just a little and you can take that little and achieve a lot. A little goes a long way.
