My Project
Many of our students live in conditions that make it difficult to maintain good hygiene, because of their cultures or their socioeconomic status. Some of our students share their spaces with domestic animals and or multiple families in a single small home and maintaining hygiene can be a challenge. Students living in this condition have less awareness and access to health, hygiene, and nutritious care. Our students will benefit from the health classroom lessons that I will be teaching (how to take care of ourselves daily). I will be distributing toothpaste, and toothbrushes to the student and teaching them about oral care. Also, I will teach them through the classroom lessons that the effect of not bathing every day leads to skin conditions as well it can affect their social life.
Children who practice good hygiene have more success in their development and have better social lives as well as in their future professional lives
Good hygiene can help the students focus better on school. Lack or poor hygiene affects the student’s physical and mental health. Students normally get sick leading to miss school and falling behind in class. If the student has poor hygiene can become self-conscious or may be bullied. For that reason, I want to promote a good hygiene care program in our school by teaching and providing the necessary items to our students.
