Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Getting enough classroom supplies will help me be more creative in making creative activities for the students. Having adequate school supplies can drastically help pave a path to a successful future for children of low-income families. As a teacher, I value stability. Arriving equipped for the school day also helps them feel confident in their ability to function in the classroom.

If you were to donate school essentials listed in this project, students could more easily turn their focus to learning.

These school supplies are also valuable tools for a creative classroom. There are so many ways to teach differently when supplies are available.

The Cricut Explore Air 2 Die Cutting Machine will help make labels in each area of the classroom, label classroom resources and toys for students to easily find and help things to be more accessible. Students will also be using the Cricut for creative design projects. The other supplies will allow us to do more hands-on learning experiences with art and creativity skills and an overall better learning process.
