Global Reading

My students need 5 sets of the 2011-2012 Global Reading Challenge books to engage in teamwork and prepare for the challenge.

My Students

Help us win the 2011-2012 Global Reading Challenge.

Our 4th and 5th graders will read the 10 books selected from the county's librarians and prepare and challenge other school teams to answer questions about the books.

Last year we came in second place in the district. This year, we want to win the Grand Challenge.

My Project

Having these books will allow more students to participate in this great program this year. Last year was the first year our school participated in Global Reading, and it was a huge hit. We are excited to expand it to the 5th graders this year and get everyone excited about reading.

The Global Reading Challenge gets even reluctant readers excited about reading since this is a competition.

The librarians do such a great job picking out fun and diverse books each year, and we are so excited about this years' picks. We can't wait to start reading.
