My students need microscopes to discover a whole new world never explored before. A digital microscope, a student microscope, and an investigation kit will foster exploration.

Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Do you remember the first time you ever looked through the lens of a microscope? Remember how amazed you were by the world you saw? You can be the one to give that new, exciting experience to students!
My students live in a low socio-economic neighborhood and have not had many of the same opportunities as children in other neighborhoods in our town.
Our school is considered persistently low achieving. Despite hardships and daily trials, my students have been able to reach high in their academics and each show a very promising future. I teach these gifted and talented students that they can do anything and be anything if they put their minds to it. These microscopes will help students encounter possible career choices that they can work towards in the coming years of their schooling.
My Project
Microscopes are a miraculous tool to use for students and professionals alike. Giving these students the opportunity to explore and learn how to use them will help ignite a passion for learning and science in my content-starved students. My students are at the top of their class and beg for new experiences and challenges that they are not receiving in their regular classrooms where focus lies solely on “making the grade”. Students will be expected to use microscopes in upper grades, and ultimately college, so why not give them a head start? By giving them knowledge of the purpose and use for microscopes at this young age, you will help ensure a strong science background and passion for discovery in each of my students.
This project is so important for my students.
They beg to be challenged and have real-world experiences. By donating to this project, you will be helping supply my students with opportunities they would not otherwise have the option of experiencing. You may very well be the catalyst in creating the next up-and-coming scientist who discovers a new species, more effective water treatment processes or even cures for medical diseases!
