We are off on our learning safari this year but we need your help. Our 4th grade classroom is lacking some math manipulatives that would greatly benefit us.
I teach in a low socioeconomic, Title I school.
My 4th graders are excited about learning new things this year. In fact, over half of the students stated that their goal for this year is to get better at math. In order to do this, we could use some help in acquiring some basic math manipulatives.
My Project
We currently have access to several manipulatives but are required to share them building-wide. Our math curriculum is set up to spiral and therefore students need access to manipulatives all the time. I want to be able to provide a section in my room for students to use any tool they may need whenever they need it.
Would you please help me in providing hands-on experiences in math each and every day to a great group of 4th graders?
Your donation to our project will be used daily and not just for a one time project. Thank you for investing in our lives!
