Help us succeed! We are in a high poverty area and the students lack technology they need to succeed. Being able to practice and share our skills can make all the difference.
Our students do not have the opportunity to use digital equipment.
We need Flip cameras to make creative video projects that will showcase our students' talents in an educational and fun way.
My students are energetic and enthusiastic about using computers. They also are very aware of some of the limitations we face without the proper technology. By having a Flip camera, we will be able to create real videos and students will be able to learn how to use technology better and also see their creativity come alive.
My Project
My students need a flip camera. My students will learn more about using technology in the classroom. They will be learning about how to reflect on their own work by recording it and reviewing it. They will be able to share their work with their peers and family members.
The Flip camera will be used by the students. They will record and learn how to download the video clips. We plan on using this project to make digital videos to share books with younger readers as well as digital book reports, storytelling and anything else I am sure this great bunch can think of to excel as learners. As a teacher I am excited to share opportunities with my students that will encourage them to be life long learners.
The project will enable my student to become not only better digital learners but part of the digital nation.
My students will be out making and sharing videos that will better their educational process. This is very important and will make a difference in their learning.
