This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
When did you first know what you wanted to be when you grew up? In Kindergarten, an important part of our curriculum is learning about the different people in our community and their careers.
My students all live in an impoverished area and receive free lunch at school.
They are excited about learning and being in school for the first time, but need the materials to help them have a rich learning experience. You can help provide materials that will provide them with the learning experiences they have not yet had.
My Project
These materials will be used during our "Community Helper" unit. In this unit, we learn about the different people in our community and what they do. These materials will help the students better understand the different careers. Students will be able to play with the community helper people and not even realize that they are learning! Puzzles will help their problem-solving skills while reinforcing the differences between the careers. With your help, my students will learn more about these careers and hopefully be inspired to pursue one later in life!
Your donation will make a big difference in our classroom!
These materials will help the students learn more about the different people who work in our community and neighborhood. Please consider donating to my project and helping my students. They deserve to have quality materials to help their learning. Thank you in advance!
