Studies show that people enjoy a task more when they feel comfortable doing it. I want to improve my students’ love for reading by providing a comfortable environment for them to read in. My students need an inviting classroom rug to help inspire them to read.
My students spend a lot of time reading as well as being read to during the school day.
I know the students would be easily transferred into the pages of the books and to the lives of the characters if they were comfortable while reading. Being comfortable would improve their comprehension and reduce distractions during their reading times. There is so much knowledge and imagination to gain from reading, and I aim to help students gain it by creating a comfortable and inviting place for them to read.
My class is in need of a large rug for our reading area. I would like the area to be inviting and to encourage students to read comfortably, and a classroom rug will do just that. A rug is also essential when students listen to stories from the teacher. In addition, the classroom rug will also help to lessen noise caused by using manipulative items as students explore math and science.
In today's world the ability to read is a decisive factor in a students’ success in life.
Your help will guarantee that my students have an ideal reading environment and gain a love for reading and learning.
