Would You Believe My Students Love Math???

My students are requesting a set of student Saxon Math books.

My fifth graders love math and I would like to give them every opportunity to be as successful in math as possible. I have a very diverse group of students in a Title 1 school. There are approximately fifty-four plus languages spoken here. I am always looking for multiple ways to individualize my teaching. I need to know that I have done everything possible to teach each one.

My students asked if I would send in a proposal to request enough Saxon Math books that they could share. They felt thirty books would be too much to ask for, so we are just asking for fifteen. I currently have one Saxon Math book that is being swapped around. My students tell me it has directions that are easy to follow and they prefer working in it. There are investigations which are not in any other books they have. Investigations provide a fun way to learn math.

Math is critical in the world today. It is used in every aspect of life. I want my students to feel and be successful. I need to provide my students with the resources they need for learning math.

Your help will make my students extremely happy. They have asked for this proposal because they see first hand how much it adds to the learning in our classroom. Keep them excited about math! Please fund their proposal!
