This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 11th and 12th grade English to students from low income households. Students lack critical thinking skills due to lack of background knowledge.
My students need classroom resources to promote an invigorated learning atmosphere. We have few exciting tools available to teach English using vibrant enriching methods.
I need these chess books to engage the students through "the spirit of the game". They will benefit in learning through strategy, logic, planning and analysis. They will learn history and critical thinking through the process of applying the strategies of chess to life.
You will guarantee that the students using these resources will develop advanced thought patterns and ideas on career paths. They will become higher achievers in the classroom and business.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
