A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
To whom much is given, much is required. I am grateful that I had everything that I needed when I grew up, but my students do not. I want only the best for them.
I work in the suburbs of a major city, but we do not have any picketed fences.
It is not what we see in the movies. I work at a Title 1 school where all the students receive free lunch. We have many students that have behavior and emotional issues. We also have students that come to school every day and try really hard to do their best regardless of what is going on around them.
My Project
I have asked for many types of school supplies. The composition books will be used as math journals. The color pencils, scissors, glue sticks and rubber cement will be for class project center. The highlighters will help students to find the main idea of a text and important vocabulary terms. These are simple supplies, but they are what my students need for daily use.
My students need classroom tools to help them learn.
The requested supplies will be used every day and make our classroom a wonderful place to learn. Please consider giving a donation to help us get these supplies.
