This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Learning is a very colorful experience. As we learn we become aware of things we once did not notice.
My students are kind, caring people living in an extremely high poverty area.
Many of them live in a shelter and struggle through many obstacles a person of their age should not have to endure. Their struggles make giving their focus solely to school increasingly difficult. Within our school building they have a lot of support from guidance counselors, teachers, and administration but they need more support. My ESL students need support in the form of materials used during lessons.
My Project
A color printer and printer cartridges will benefit my students in a variety of ways. Pictures are a big part of our lessons on many occasions. The problem is, we only have a black and white printer so the pictures used are not very clear and students can not see a lot of detail in them.
Receiving a printer and color cartridges will benefit our classroom because students will be able to view places, objects, and people as they truly are in color rather than in black and white.
Learning in color will keep my students interested in their work as they will be able to identify new details and become more confident in their findings and their work.
