I teach kindergarten in a primary center located in a poverty stricken densely populated area.
The primary center is a Title I school where all the students receive free meals. My students are bright, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. They love exploring and investigating.
My Project
Your generous donation will fund wonderful vital science resources that will enable my students to learn the science standards through hands-on experiences. I have requested science theme boxes, like the Seasons and Weather box that will help my kids explore the four seasons and learn about weather. Also, the butterfly nursery so that my students can witness first hand the life cycle of a butterfly! Science is best learned through hands-on. These tools will help my students learn the life cycles of animals and plants, and the seasons of the year. Our school district is in financial crisis, there are no funds to provide these science resources. Your sponsorship will provide these science resources that will not only help them learn important science concepts it will also inspire my students to continue exploring!
