Have you ever been memorized by a piece of art? Kandinsky inspires children, unlike any other artist.
My students really and truly love art.
They are so excited to use different mediums and have one period a week with me. It is a very special feeling that I enable children to express themselves and be creative through color. The colors light up in their eyes. They don't have art supplies at home. Their fun time is at school, from morning till late day. School is their color palette.
My Project
My students will use the different colored tempera paint to create Kandinksy inspired art. The paper will be folded in quarters. Each quarter will begin with a circle and then two larger circles around the original circle. The black and white tempera paint will help with tinting and shading.
Kandinksy art happens to be one of my favorites.
The color choice and brightness, the liveliness, excitement, joy, and pleasure to create the inspired and powerful colors. Wassily Kandinsky has inspired us to see the world through colors and take a chance to experiment through Kandinsky's eyes. The children will be memorized by the infinite colors!
