This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I am a new teacher who teaches special education in a low income, high poverty community.
My special needs students need visual aides and a print-rich classroom. Because most of them struggle with reading, it is important for them to have a classroom full of large text and visual reminders.
Having a flip chart easel, flip chart paper, and colorful flip chart markers will allow me to create large visual aides and large text that I can post in my classroom and use to help explain new concepts and lessons.
Your support will make learning easier for my special needs students. Their educations will be enriched by having large text and visual aides available to them.
