This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
I teach 7th grade science in a small rural district in Mississippi. Most of our students are from low income families. The tax base for our district is very low.
Having ink to print but no paper presents a problem. In Science we need diagrams to illustrate and clarify concepts and structures. My supply budget has been decreased and the majority of it was spent on ink cartridges for my printer. This gives me the ability to print but I have no paper to print on!
This simple gift of cartons of paper will help to keep the students interest going and enable them to be successful. Computers are wonderful but paper is forever and portable. Many diagrams, figures, and illustrations are just waiting to be printed!
Thank you for your consideration. This gift will supply our needs for the year. Again it will enable our students to be successful.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
