Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
As a first year Third Grade Bilingual teacher in the Chicago Public Schools, I am in desperate need of classroom organizers.
Third grade is known as an important transitional year where students are taught how to become more organized and be responsible for their learning. With so much student work it is hard to keep it organized and managed for each student and often gets thrown in a pile and never passed out.
With a mailbox organizer a student will be in charge of placing graded work into the labeled mailbox slot for each student. This will keep work organized and make sure it goes home to the right student. At the end of the week the student will go to their mailbox slot and retrieve all so they can share it with their parents over the weekend.
Teaching organizational skills is a must at the third grade level and what better way then having students organize their own work, you can help me teach with this student mailbox organizer!
