I teach Kindergarten in a school where most of our students are learning English as a second language, and most of them hear little or no English at home. Many of our parents are not able to read to their children in English. I would like to have 10 student cassette players with headphones and some sets of books with cassettes that my students can borrow to listen to at home. By increasing their exposure to English and to quality children's stories, they will increase their knowledge of English and achieve more success at school.
