Inspire Me to Read

I would like you to know how much my students and I appreciate the opportunity that you provided for us to receive books for our classroom.
Your donation has enabled me, as a teacher, to provide rich reading experiences for my students. When I ordered classroom books, I chose a variety of genres and multi-level books in order to provide for all students. We now use the books on a daily basis and my students really enjoy reading books of their choice.
I feel that this opportunity has helped me encourage my students to read. Hopefully, they will become lifelong readers due to their successful reading experiences in my classroom.”

My students are 6th graders. We are in a public school system and my middle school consists of around 1000 students. I teach on the resource/inclusion team. My students' scores are usually very low. They are hesitant about being different and need motivation to become better students. Access to technology and reading will give them more self confidence, help improve their low reading scores and prepare them for their future in a digital world.
