Thank you so much for funding my proposal, Divorce on the Rise. Unfortunately half of the students that attend Bonne E'cole Elementary come from broken homes. However, I try to make the transition with this as smooth as possible. Having materials to help with this really makes a difference. I just can't thank you enough for helping me in my mission.
I am so excited about having the opportunity to bring the Time for Kids resource into my classroom. I plan to use this magazine to enrich the curriculum in both reading and social studies. I know that my students will love reading about current events that are significant to them. We will be able to incorporate the things we learn from the articles into all areas of our learning. This may even help with communication at home. Students will be more aware of the world around them, therefore, will feel more comfortable participating in discussions with Mom & Dad. Thank you so much for making this possible for my kids!
Thank you so much for funding my request for books and tapes. I know how much my class, as well as future classes will enjoy the books and tapes. They really enjoy listening to the stories. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for investing in my students. My school received so many students from neighboring parishes due to Katrina. Most of these students lost everything. It is my hope that this digital camera will help these students capture new memories as well as enhance my lessons. Thanks again!
I am so thankful to you for choosing my proposal to offer a grant to. My entire focus in the 2007-2008 school year will be on educating the students about bullying and so having materials to use is so beneficial. Tapes on the various kinds of bullying really help the students see firsthand appropriate and inappropriate behaviors and what can be done about it. Thank you so much for your generosity”
Thank you for your generosity! My students are going to love the Lego set. They will be playing while building important skills that are needed in math and science. Many of my students lack the basic skills that are learned through this type of play, so they will benefit from your gift. Once again, thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness”
Thank you so much for funding the math library that I requested. I am so excited. Not only will my children benefit, but I can now share with my co-workers so that their classrooms can also benefit. You have no idea how much I appreciate your generosity. Because of people like you, our children benefit. Sincerely,
I am truly touched by your generosity. Because of you, I will be able to start off the next school year with this new technology. It will not only meet technology requirements, but will also allow me to extend my lessons and add variety to what is being taught. It touches me to think that there are people like you who are so unselfish and willing to step out and become an unseen influence in classrooms across America. Your willingness to give will touch many students. Because my current students only have four weeks left in school, I will start the next school year using the precious gift that you have provided. My 2007-2008 class will be sending you feedback when we start classes in the fall. Once again, thank you so much for your generosity.
How excited we are to be getting art supplies! Many of the things we will have will be unfamiliar to my students. We can plan so many end of the end of the year lesson plans using these materials. I would like to thank you for responding to the needs of students in our low economic area. Most of our students have not had art opportunities and this will be awesome for them. I can hardly wait for my materials to arrive. Thank your so much!
Thank you so much for funding our need for pottery supplies and a kiln! The Algiers Charter School system was the first system up and running after the storm. We have been trying to give the children as much art as we can as we all get our city back on its feet. I think ceramics is the most important media for kids. Thanks again,
