We are so excited to start up our after-school art projects and wanted to thank you for the donation of the paints and plaster gauze. The students and staff of Mintonye Elementary are elated to have Diversity's Beat completely funded. The adventure begins today. We will be utilizing our time before our supplies arrive to plan the costuming, program and field trip as well as select the students to be involved in our endeavor. I am excited to inform our staff of this program when I return to work in the morning. Thank you again for believing in our project of compassion and understanding of the American melting pot and bringing an old culture to new light in our rural elementary school.

Please know the students of Mintonye Elementary will be sending their gratitude as soon as our program is underway. We are less than three months from summer dismissal and although we fully intend to complete our program before year end, the field trip and arrival of supplies may delay completion of the program until the fall semester.
