  • Cloudy With a Chance of Learning...

    Wow! What a surprise! In creating this proposal, I began to get excited about the possibilities this proposal held. I hoped to receive funding, but did not really believe it could happen. How great to find out that this proposal did indeed receive funding!

    Unfortunately, I need to wait until the fall to receive my materials. I am already busy at work trying to decide on activities and lessons to use. The terrific aspect of this proposal, unlike many others, is that students in K-5 in our school and throughout the county will use the data collected to complete other activities.

  • Turn March Sadness into March Madness, Part 2

    Wow! What a pleasant surprise! I can’t thank you enough for your kind gift, the second basketball goal system. Now we have a complete set and the kids will be thrilled!

    Your gift will make such a difference in the appearance of our playground. The basketball court will be more inviting to players as we retire the sad, old system and replace it with new the sturdy set.

    I will pass this good news on to the kids in August and with luck, our maintenance department will have the new goal set in place before the students arrive. Thank you again for your kindness and wonderful gift. Please know that through your giving you make a positive difference in the lives of children by encouraging them to play, share, respect and trust. These qualities are traits we try to instill in our future leaders. I look forward to sending you pictures of children playing on our basketball court using the new goals.
