  • Write Erase Repeat

    Funded May 7, 2021

    Thank you for your generosity and helping with this project for my students. Whiteboards, dry erase markers and erasers are some of the most used tools in our classroom. We can use them to practice writing our names, writing words, writing numbers, doing math facts, and so much more! And being that they are used a lot, it is super helpful to have a new set of whiteboards every few years. Every student needs several whiteboard markers throughout the year, and the erasers last about a year as well.

    Thank you so much for donating towards this project. With your help, we created notebooks to go to and from school and help families have the resources at home to help their students grow as readers and writers and mathematicians.

    We are learning in two languages and with this project we are able to send home resources that are hard to find but can help our students grow to be responsible.

  • Not Time to Share

    I am so thankful for your support with this project. I used the funds to provide supply boxes for each of my Kindergarten and First grade students. These boxes are used to hold their pencils, crayons, journals, math manipulatives, etc. We are not allowed to share supplies at this time, therefore each student has their own supply box.

    Everyday, I pass out their boxes and the students are in charge of their own supplies. They have learned to be responsible to get their own supplies ready. They have learned to be respectful of their supplies and not to break them. They have learned to be reliable to clean up after themselves.

  • Watercolor Wonders

    During this strange year educating our youngest students via the computer and lessons on Zoom, I wanted to bring some fun and excitement into their learning.

    The students have worked all week on learning to retell The Mitten by Jan Brett. At the end of the week, after their assessment, they were able to learn to paint two matching mittens with their new watercolor paints. It was such a fun experience for them to work with paints as they learn at home. Some students have never had the experience of painting. Thank you for your support!”

  • MORE STEM Kits for MORE STEM Kids

    I cannot thank you enough for stepping up when the need arose - just days before school was beginning, we were told we would have Kindergarten AND First Graders in class and we needed MORE supplies for our STEM kits. Thank you for partnering with me to help our students succeed. We got supplies for them like white boards and markers, Space and Plant kits, as well as more supplies for STEM projects. The students love their supplies and have been so thankful to have them as we try to make learning fun and exciting while we are doing on-line learning.”

  • S.T.E.M Learning for Life Space Edition

    Time and Space is such a fun study! The students cannot wait for this special unit. They do not even know what they will get to build with this project. I love their excitement and wonderment as they anticipate learning about Space and the Earth and Moon Cycle. In this online learning environment, getting hands-on learning tools at home is very difficult for some students. We were able to deliver each STEM bag to the students' houses and get the supplies to them. They are very excited and thankful for this fun opportunity to learn.”

  • S.T.E.M Learning for Life Plant Edition

    This is such a fun project to help students learn about the plant life cycle. We started with making predictions on what they were going to learn about when they received the supplies from this kit. Their responses were everything from chia seeds to a fairy garden to a night light to use when it is dark.
