I want to raise A LOT of Money for in need Science Classrooms. My target will be urban classrooms looking for equipment/supplies for ecology, environmental sciences, and life sciences.

I cannot adequately put into words my feelings of appreciation and excitement for your donations to my project. I am ecstatic to see that you support my vision for my students. In science, we need to be able to repeatedly visualize concepts in order to retain information and draw meaningful connections.
The materials you have funded will empower students of all learning abilities to use visual aids as compliments to their artistic abilities and critical thinking. Students will be able to see, hear, and feel what they learnâ"particularly as we span principles of Physical Science and Biology in one year. The camera and projector will allow for consistent demonstrations across all of my classes. The other materials will allow me to more easily learn
I hope to share innovative ways of learning with my colleagues. Thank you so much for your support. I am so ready to put these resources to use in my classroom!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Dupee
This classroom project was brought to life by Epson and 10 other donors.
Our students are profoundly grateful for your support and honored to have the chance to study plants and grow indoor gardens. As you know, our students live in high-poverty neighborhoods and for most, this is their only access to hands-on science experiments and gardening projects. Their enthusiasm for our classroom garden has reminded me how important inspiration and excitement is in the learning process. It means everything!
The supplies that you funded went towards creating 6 different ecological terrarium habitats - from desert to tropical (and all level in between). The students designed, assembled, and now are maintaining the terrariums with passion and enthusiasm. They are also currently growing seedlings for our outdoor flower and vegetable to be planted outside our cafeteria this spring and we plan to incorporate their home-grown cool season crops into their lunch menu. Lastly, they grew their own strawberries in class and examined DNA strands that they extracted from the cells.
A large part of their excitement is because they took ownership of their creations - from start to finish; they are invested in the data they collect and energized to compare results and analyze outcomes because they hold "stake" in the process. They're not just growing plants, they're growing critical thinking skills and scientifically rigorous analytical skills, as well as pride in their work.
It is great to see you that you share my vision for reaching children by helping them to achieve great things. My children may live in a low-income area, but they have potential that greatly exceeds their limited resources. Together, we dream big!
In these troubling economic times families are struggling to make ends meet and with your gift not only are the less fortunate helped but ALL students in the classroom. Your gift provides the correct notebook to maintain a science of inquiry.
My students use these notebooks to hand write their laboratories to become proficient with the scientific method. Using gridded notebooks allows students to maintain formatted labs, and learn from mistakes quickly. Writing laboratories in a science notebook allows students to learn by doing. Biology and Physiology students will use these notebooks to not only keep track of their scientific endeavors but they are creating a study tool-kit. This tool-kit maintains all individualized learning of the student.
These notebooks will help students to learn organizational skills and study skills. These will help the students maintain their interactive notebooks which are living documents of their learning and performance in the classroom.
I appreciate all your support to enhance my students' science education and to create an atmosphere of success.”
Thank you all for giving my students the opportunity to do scientific project that is unlike any other. The dissection of a frog may seen gruesome for some, but it is a meaning part of Biology. As a country we have a growing demand for scientists, especially in the medical field.
For some students, this activity reinforced what they already wanted to do for a living (being a doctor), and for some, it gave them one more potential major to look forward to. The frog dissection is a long process and the culminating portion of the project (the practical) really gave the students their first experience of what a real college class is like.
Your donation really motivates students to do better academically. The idea that now the students have an idea of what awaits them in college, is a great motivator. The words, "I can't wait to go to college," is like music to my ears. Again, thank you all for this precious life changing gift.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Estrada

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donations to my project. My students will be so excited that their needs are cared for by so many other people.
The tools that you have funded will enable my students to do more biological science and perform critical inquiry based investigations. I look forward to sharing their progress with you all and hope that the students do great things in science. We are so excited!
We give are sincere and humble thanks for all of your help.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Wallace
